Content Management Systems (CMS)

What is a Content Management System (CMS) and why would I want one?

A CMS is a web application with two parts: (1) a database that stores your content and (2) a server-side scripting language that retrieves and 'serves' the content to your web browser.
It will allow you to edit your content via a control panel that doesn't require programming expertise on your part. If your company or organization makes frequent changes to your web site content (and you should!) you should really consider the advantages of a CMS, particularly if you have multiple editors:

I can convert your existing site or set your new site up as a CMS.

If you only have one or two pages that you'd like to be able to edit, I do have scripts that will allow that too if a complete CMS is overkill for your site.
